We are Remo and not Ijebu

There is nothing like ijebu Remo, Ijebu is Ijebu while Remo have always been Remo. All towns in Ijebu are addressed as so e.g ijebu igbo, ijebu ode Ayepe-Ijebu , ibefu-ijebu, odogbolu, ijebu modi mosan, Atan Ijebu. Before the independence it is common and said to be compulsory or an unwritten law for all smaller towns scatter across the axis to always include Via in their address like sign boards or gets invaded by the larger ijebu ode. But all towns in Remo always address themselves as ilisan Remo, akaka Remo, Ikenne Remo, Ode Remo, Eposo Remo, Ode Lemo, Iperu Remo, Ogere Remo all together the towns were 33 and put together as Rẹ̀mọ mẹ̀tálèlọ̀gbọ́n. For more classification my mum is from Imodi-Imosan Ijebu while my dad is from Orisagamu-ewa Remo. referring to Rẹ̀mọ as Ijebu Rẹ̀mọ is abusive, degrading and also derogatory as calling some people ẹ́gbà etì Odó formally egbado.
